Link Housing manages properties for local councils, state government, developers, private owners and other organisations who provide youth services, disability support, domestic violence and women’s services.
The Social Housing Management Transfer (SHMT) is the NSW Government’s initiative to invest in and grow the community housing sector. As part of this initiative, Link Housing successfully tendered to manage more than 1,800 public housing tenancies and properties on behalf of the NSW Government for a 20-year period.
We commenced management of these properties on 3 December 2018.
Link Housing has a proud history of providing housing to people with disabilities.
In 2018, we expanded our services, becoming an NDIS registered ‘Specialist Disability Accommodation’ provider and partnering with leading disability provider, Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) to transition 235 NSW Government tenancies for people with a disability to community housing.
Link Housing partners with a number of local councils both to facilitate the delivery of housing for people on low incomes, as well as support programs and other initiatives related to housing, community engagement, capacity building and placemaking.
