More ‘Virtually Linked’ Zoom activities for residents

Now, more than ever, is the time to stay connected with each other and have fun.

To achieve this, Link Housing’s Community Programs team is running a second round of Virtually Linked, where residents can access free Zoom activities such as gentle exercise workshops, art classes, cooking tutorials and online games!



Virtually Linked Schedule

Activities will run Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 12:00pm
from 17 August to 4 September 2020.



Mondays: Gentle Exercise with Alex

Gentle Exercise with Alex Gleeson, an expert Exercise Physiologist who will guide you on each exercise in the comfort of your own home.





Tuesdays: Cook Along with the Community Programs Team

Join the Community Programs team to cook and chat about their favourite recipes.

Tuesday 17 August 2020 : Irish Soda Bread with Suzanne

Tuesday 24 August 2020 : Chinese broccoli dish with Natasha

Tuesday 1 September 2020 : Blueberry muffins with Maria



Wednesday: Online BINGO! and Games with Suzanne

Join staff and your fellow residents to play bingo and online games.  There are prizes to be won. You’ve got to be in it to win it!





Thursdays: Mindfulness and Meditation

Join our partner Holistic Services to take you through a mindfulness and meditation session. These sessions can help improve your health and wellbeing, and help you mange everyday stresses we all have. It will be a fun and gentle introduction to mindfulness and meditation.



Fridays: Let’s Get ‘Arty’ with Rachel!

Super fun art class where you will be shown the basics, given ongoing support, and learn about art history.





How can I participate?

You need to register for each activity you want to attend. Call our Community Programs team on 9412 5111 or email communityengagement@linkhousing.org.au to register.

You will need access to the internet, an email address and a smartphone, tablet or laptop to participate. Our team can help you access Zoom and set up an email address if you don’t have one. Please contact the Community Programs team on 9412 5111.
