The Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) is a forum for Link Housing tenants to give their feedback on Link Housing’s service, raise issues and suggest ideas that will help to improve how Link Housing is run.
We were delighted to come together in February for our first meeting of 2020! We heard from Link Housing’s CEO and a range of other department managers on what the organisation has planned this year. There was lots of positive feedback about the recent events hosted by Link Housing.
The information session: ‘Service Delivery – Feedback and Complaints’ in January was well attended with around 20 residents coming along to hear from Adam West from Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA) about the related policies and processes, as well as to share their feedback.
The feedback from attendees, combined with information from our Annual Tenant Satisfaction Survey, will help Link Housing to improve their service in the area of feedback and complaints management. Find out more about Link Housing’s Feedback, Complaints and Appeals process.
Link Housing has many more events coming up and we encourage residents to attend. Go to page 4 of Community Link Autumn Newsletter for what’s coming up. The events provide valuable skills and information – as well as being fun and an opportunity to connect with other Link Housing residents.
In our February meeting, we also spoke about ideas to make our properties and homes more liveable. We noted the wonderful impact of community gardens on residents and places, as well as the upcoming launch of Link Housing’s street libraries that TAG member, John, has supported greatly. You will hear more about the street libraries in the next newsletter.
If you have ideas about how to your home and community, you can share them by attending the next TAG meeting or sharing them with your Housing Manager, or calling our Community Engagement or Client Services Team on (02) 9412 5111.
