We look forward to welcoming our new tenants
In December this year, Link Housing will take over management of around 1,900 additional public housing properties in Hornsby, Ryde and Ku-ring-gai. These properties were previously managed by the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS). These new arrangements are part of the NSW Government’s Social Housing Management Transfers program.
In this section of our website, you will find information on:
- Community events and tenant home visits. Some of these events are specifically for FACS tenants who will be transferring to Link Housing soon. Other events are open to all of our tenants and community stakeholders (e.g. No Place Like Home art exhibition). We are also pleased to have a dedicated team of Housing Managers who will begin home visits to our future tenants in September. The purpose of this home visits is to ensure that it is a smooth transition for tenants tranferring to Link Housing. Take a look at our 'What's On page here or download our Events Calendar here for all the details and dates of the events and home visits coming up.
- FACS tenant frequently asked questions (FAQs). You can download and read our FAQs here. However, if you have any additional questions about the Management Transfer please contact your FACS CSO in the lead up to the transfer date. For enquiries about Link Housing, please contact our Client Services team on 9412 5111.
The transfer of these new properties in Ryde, Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai will take Link Housing's portfolio to close to 4000 homes, making us one of the largest community housing providers in NSW. Read about the SHMT win here.
Our growth strategy continues to be supported by our tenants, especially our Tenant Advisory Group. We thank each and every one of them for their generous input and contributions. The care and well-being of our tenants remain our number one priority as we expand.
Link Housing Daily Draw: Link Housing will be giving away a 100$ EFTPOS gift card voucher each weekday to a FACS tenant who is trasferring to Link Housing in December 2018 and who completes the forms sent to them by mail in August 2018. You can read the Terms and Conditions here.
