Entering the NDIS space
Link Housing has been providing housing for people with a disability for many years, and we’re committed to increasing housing opportunities, and creating supportive and inclusive communities where tenants have the opportunity to participate.
Partnering with disability support services – including the Cerebral Palsy Association (CPA), The Housing Connection (THC), Unisson Disability Services and Inala Disability Services – Link Housing is well-equipped to provide housing for people with a disability, and deliver modifications and adaptable housing.
Link Housing is now also a registered provider of Specialist Disability Accommodation under the NDIS and has a fully-resourced disability housing team.
- We provide tenancy and asset management for properties owned or leased by a range of disability services, ensuring quality housing is provided.
- We also work with disability organisations to either develop land or redevelop older properties to deliver additional, quality housing for people with a disability.
- In 2018, following a successful tender for NSW Government properties housing people with a disability (and in partnership with CPA), Link Housing commenced tenancy and asset management for 235 residents living in 49 group homes and a 10-bed medically supported facility.
- Link Housing took a person-centred and supportive approach to transitioning former Ageing, Disability and Home Care NSW (ADHC) clients. We have received positive feedback from clients, their families and staff who transferred.
