Link Housing launched Home Sweet in 2017 to address the growing issue of youth homelessness in Sydney. The fundraising sleepover event, raised $120,000 for The Burdekin Association, who provide housing, support and hope to homeless youth. Find out more about Home Sweet 2017 here.
This year, with the help and support of our amazing sponsors, partners and participants, we hope to raise the same amount to support Sydney’s youth – as well as women escaping domestic violence and others in the community who are most at risk of homelessness. The money raised will be donated to The Burdekin Association, Women’s Community Shelters (WCS) and Link Housing Scholarship Program. Read about our Home Sweet 2019 beneficiaries.
With six weeks to go to the big event, we welcome support from individuals and organisations who want to help us to provide safe and affordable housing to the most vulnerable in our community.
Donate, support a “sleepee” or sleep over yourself at Freshwater Surf Club on 20th September 2019, from 6pm to raise money for this valuable cause.
