Link Housing People – Meet our Client Services Team

2019 has been one of the busiest times in Link Housing’s history. We now manage almost 4000 homes, housing almost 6000 tenants. With such a large community, we’ve had to increase our staff members to make sure everyone enjoys a great experience with Link Housing. This includes our Client Services Team which has welcomed many new faces in the past six months.

Our Client Services team is based in Chatswood and in West Ryde. This makes it easier for our tenants to visit us if they want to speak to us in person. The team answers all types of questions on the phone and over email. Every conversation is important to them, and they always try to help the client or applicant the very best they can.

Bernadette is a Client Service Officer in West Ryde. We asked her a couple of questions about her role and what it’s like to work at Link Housing.

What is the mission of the team?

Our goal is to really listen to each client or applicant that calls or emails us and to go above and beyond to answer their questions. In doing this, we also get to know residents well and build relationships with them. We believe that every person that we talk to deserves respect.

What is special about working in this team?

We all find the work we do meaningful and we get satisfaction from helping people and finding solutions to a client’s or applicant’s issues or concerns. We have a culturally diverse team and respect the diversity of all our clients and applicants.
