Link Housing reminds our tenants and community members in the Northern Beaches that the Public Health (COVID-19 Northern Beaches) Order 2020 is in effect until midnight on Wednesday 23 December 2020. Read the Orders here: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/…/public-health-orders.aspx

NSW Health strongly encourages people to wear face masks indoors.
Link Housing has responded with the following actions to keep staff, clients and the community safe:
1. Our staff are now calling vulnerable tenants in the Northern Beaches to check they are ok
2. Home visits to residents in the Northern Beaches have been postponed, however essential visits continue
3. For your safety, End of Year tenant events have been cancelled
4. Our offices remain open during business hours for essential services. However, we encourage you to call ahead on 9412 5111. Note, we are closed on the public holidays.
While our offices are open, we still ask that you contact us by phone, email or through our website for help. If you need to visit one of our offices, please contact us first on 9412 5111. Stay connected, stay safe, and please call us if you need to.
Link Housing continues to run as a COVID Safe business. We are following social distancing and health guidelines at both our offices. Please cooperate with Link Housing staff members on duty.
Tenant Home Visits and Repairs
For your safety, Link Housing stopped tenant Home Visits
during the peak of COVID-19. Our Housing Managers have started Home Visits again. Your Housing Manager will call you first to see if you are comfortable with a visit and if you’d like them to wear masks or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
We are mindful that some of our clients are vulnerable and have health issues. Our Housing Managers therefore check with each and every tenant before confirming a Home Visit.
As part of the ‘check before confirming a Home Visit’, staff will ask a series of questions to determine any risk factors and your comfort level with a visit.
Link Housing has followed similarly strict protocols in prioritising ongoing repairs and maintenance services for our tenants over the past few months. We will continue to do so. Where urgent repairs are required, we will work with tenants to ensure their safety.

Latest health advice on face masks
NSW Health strongly recommends that you wear a mask in areas where community transmission is occurring and in all indoor spaces.
Wear a mask when using public transport, rideshares and taxis, and in shops, places of worship and other places where you can’t physically distance.
