Community gardening competition and program

Home / Community gardening competition and program

Want to enter our 2021 Gardening Competition and be in the chance to win a $200 gift card?

Please visit our new website to enter.

Calling all green thumbs!

To support the many Link Housing residents who enjoy gardening and getting out in the fresh air, we’ve developed the:

  1. Annual gardening competition
  2. Community gardening program

This is also in line with our commitment to environmental sustainability.

Annual Gardening Competition

If you enjoy growing your own garden (and fancy a bit of healthy competition!), you can enter Link Housing’s annual gardening competition.

Would you like to get involved?

If you don’t already have one, Link Housing can help you set up a garden in your block of units or local area. See Community gardening below for more information.

If you already have a garden set up, start planting!

Community gardening

Link Housing makes it easy for residents who enjoy gardening to connect with each other as they tend to their community garden.

Along with our partners at Vegepod and the Royal Botanic Gardens’ Community Greening Team, Link Housing helps you set up a garden of your choice – a veggie patch, flower garden, herbs or a mix!

Would you like to set up a community garden?

All you have to do is talk to your neighbours and find out who else is interested, then contact Link Housing – we’ll do the rest.
